I read the Our Daily Bread devotional (via mail or application). I plan to read it in the morning before the work.
I follow also YMI devotional via Telegram. Sometimes, I keep all the main idea in journal. But in the future, I would like to keep a journal (handwritten). I want to try also to read devotional in the evening or before sleeping. -
I have found that praying before I read scripture has helped a lot. I ask God to show me what He needs me to see in today’s readings. I dedicated the beginning of my day to scripture and devotional reading so that nothing can distract me from spending time with God. I use phone apps to help me stay connected as well.

I have several approaches, but one that has meant the most is to record my experiences with God in a personal journal. Each year at the end of the year I read through the journal to see how God has been working in my life. It is astounding to look back on a longer period of time to see the changes happening in my life that I am not as aware of on a daily basis. But God is working and a “longer view” via my journal is very helpful.

I have tried journaling and the devotionals through Our Daily Bread and that is the one I prefer the most. I like reading the verse and then the explanation followed by the story of daily life happenings of other people. I’m not really sure what I would like to try because the Our Daily Bread devotional really has been affective for me.

I enjoy journaling and have been putting it into practice for some time. It has helped me in my “look back from where I was, to where I am now” period. I want to be more consistent with Exchanging Human Strength for Divine Strength, as I sometimes still rely on my own strength to overcome situations.
