What devotional methods have you used in the past? Which would you like to try in the future?

I read the word, journal and then pray- writing my prayers down in the journal. I would like to try praying on my knees or praying with eyes closed.

In the past, I have read and meditated on My Utmost for His Highest, and I have sat with the Bible, as well as read Catholic Devotionals. I have ordered a book from Donna Partow, Becoming the Woman God Wants Me to Be. This will be a 90-day devotional, and I will have to wait and see what God presents me to use after that!

Praying and reading something from the Bible. Definitely more open to having a planned devotional.

I use scripture daily in my quiet times along with journaling. I’ve tried devotionals from multiple sources in the past but find they distract me from God’s Word. I’ve always returned to scripture.

I have used quiet times in the past but I am currently starting to try to find bible studies that are more in depth than regular quiet times. One example is Experiencing God.
