I read a chapter in the Bible each day, sometimes I understand, other times I’m a little unsure, I’ll ask for the Holy Spirit to help me understand

In the past I have used Bible in One Year Reading Plans, devotionals from Our Daily Bread and My Utmost for His Highest. In the future I would like to try having a scheduled time for devotion, and not have a reading plan or devotion. Instead, open God’s word and just begin reading—allowing the Holy Spirit to completely have His way, and not to shy away from the Old Testament Prophets, which I usually do 🙂 -
I have tried Bible reading plan and ODB devotional booklets in my school days. Now I have devotionals sent to my email. In the future I will love to use any available technology to do my daily devotions.

I liked the Our Daily Bread App, which sends me a prerecorded video daily via text. This reminds me to stop and take the time to visit and reflect with God.
