What devotional methods have you used in the past? Which would you like to try in the future?

I love listening to Dr David Jeremiah and reading his daily devotion. He broadcasts a live message as well as a recorded message daily and the devotion of the day is always inspiring, too. I have used two Bible through a Year plans and am using a different one now by the Bible Project. My whole day is either directed or accompanied by scripture and prayer. Also weekly Church and frequent discussions with my friends so we keep each other focused.

I have used the SOAP method with a standard Bible in a year plan. I would like to try the Bible app and see what kind they have there.

I use the youversion Bible app which has a ton of different devotionals and it helps me stay in fellowship with my church.

I am currently using Donald Whitney’s book “Praying Through Scripture” to integrate my bible reading and my prayer life. I plan in continuing to us the practices that I have learned from this book.

My Utmost for His Highest and Our Daily Bread currently. And tried one of the mandarin daily devotionals my church uses, but my mandarin isn’t that good… Have yet to try others.
