Our Daily Bread, Bible Reading Plans especially Read through the Bible in One Year.
I might try My Utmost for His Highest or one of the classic writers like AW Tozer or Ray Stedman. -
I read The Daily Bread every day and try to learn from the story and passage. In the future I will try to write down my thoughts on what I read, how it relates to me and on the lesson learned.

I have used written, online, and app devotionals; I have done prescribed Bible reading plans to read through the Bible in a year; and currently I’m doing my own plan, reading through entire books, one chapter at a time, each day, including reading through Proverbs every month and through Psalms twice in a year.
At some point, I want to take more time to focus on reading one book intently, alongside commentaries, word studies, and other resources. -
I get up one hour before I used to and I pray, meditate, read books such as My Utmost for His Highest (which I strongly recommend), then I write my emerging thoughts.
In the future I hope to go back to the very beginning (now about three years ago) and compare what I was thinking about then to what I am doing now.
