I use Bible Apps and email devotionals like the Daily Bread. This includes the short devotional and the ‘Read a Bible in a Year’ section. I am comfortable with this approach and do not wish to change it.

I have used our daily bread and with my church just starting to use the upper room. In the future I would like to get back to our daily bread.

I have used the daily bread in previous years, a long time ago. My daughter had given me a devotional book and a friend had given me a devotional book for nurses. I used them inconsistently.

I have used all different kinds of devotional methods – book studies, daily devotions, or just simply reading the word. I’d like to do more in-depth studies in the future, like Kay Arthur created.

The method that I have used since I was 11 or 12 years old was reading Our Daily Bread Devotionals. It has been a constant through my life with GOD. I have found their stories throughout the years to be critical and foundational to my relationship with GOD. I have tried to just simply make sure that I read and meditate on GOD’s word throughout the day. I find that I would like Mary sit at the feet of Jesus and probably not move. However, my life is a lot like Martha muddled with distractions. I must seek to think about him often throughout day along with reading the verse of the day or devotional to help me along.
