What devotional methods have you used in the past? Which would you like to try in the future?

I have done devotionals from a number of different authors and gone through the bible in a year. I want to spend more time on less scripture to slow down as I read in the future.

I like to read through the Bible with a chapter of New Testament and Old Testament and the Our Daily Bread devotion. I try to read a different devotion as well but it’s not always as consistent as the Bible.

I have been reading straight through the bible beginning to end over the course of a year. I would like to try reading 1 book at a time straight through in one sitting then reading it again slow (a chapter a day) with time to meditate on it verse by verse.

My mom gifted me a devotional book that is dated and you just would read according to the date. I don’t read it anymore (will start again) but I am currently enjoying my Study Bible. It breaks everything down for me and giving me plenty of visuals.
