What devotional methods have you used in the past? Which would you like to try in the future?

I have followed bible reading plans, but it seems to be the best when I just ask the Lord to guide me on what to read and/or what to pray about. I love reading in Romans, John, also the letters – Collasians, Ephesians, Galatians, Phillipians – these always seem to have a word the Lord wants to speak to me.

I’ve used devotional books, selected a book of the Bible to walk through, and I’m currently reading through a chronological Bible.

I have used a Bible reading plan, and I also have used the Oswald Chambers book, or other similar devotionals.

I like to go through a book of the Bible, inductively and some exegesis; currently am going through the book of Hebrews. In terms of a daily devotional, I like New Morning Mercies by Paul Tripp.

I currently go through the book of Daniel at this moment in journal for the opportunity to speak to our athletes about the age of deception.
