I have tried to have time with the Lord at various times throughout my life. I have found that it has to change based on life’s circumstances. I was encouraged by the idea of setting aside a time and place to meet with God each day even if for 15 min.

I think following a model and being consistent and writing things down is the most effective.
I need to start journaling again -
I do Inductive Bible Study alot. I read the Bible and listen for what God is saying to me, then I write that in my journal and meditate on it, look up original meaning and usually write my own Devotion, which I post on my Devotional Site Online.
