What devotional methods have you used in the past? Which would you like to try in the future?

I use a variety of devo methods. I have a couple different daily devo books I read and will respond with what God spoke to me that day, as well as using the You Version Bible app verse of the day to reflect on.

I have done them both morning and night. As the kids got older, I found the mornings were best. I journal, read and use videos. The journaling I will do forever, it’s so cool to look back and see the journey

I enjoy using devotional books. I have used several over the years.

A deep search of the Bible, one book at a time, along with prayer for immediate and long range needs, all accompanied with a few notes carefully thought through. This has been very helpful to me. I plan to stay with this in the future.

I have used devotional books and inspirational books as well as Bible study. I like using the devotional books because they help me not only see what God was saying at that point in time but also how it applies to me now.
