I think following a model and being consistent and writing things down is the most effective.
I need to start journaling again

I do Inductive Bible Study alot. I read the Bible and listen for what God is saying to me, then I write that in my journal and meditate on it, look up original meaning and usually write my own Devotion, which I post on my Devotional Site Online.

I spend lots of time in the morning. I journal, listen read God’s Word, write my devotions. I read another Devotion. I would like to spend more time doing this same thing at the end of the day, too.
