I have used the Bible app on my phone to do many of them in the future I hope to have more devotionals through a workbook type of devotional.

I’ve used workbooks, devotionals, apps, and tracks in the past. I like the apps.

I have read devotional books in the past, they provide a good short encouragement for the day and have helped me remember a lot of God’s promises to keep me going in my Christian walk.
I’m guilty of reading the Bible sometimes like a regular book, I tend to read thru a book superficially and fast to finish my reading. I want to start reading the Bible the way it’s meant to be read, with intention, with purpose and taking my time to hear God speak.

I would like to try a daily devotional book. I typically read a chapter of the Bible and meditate or journal on it, but a devotional book can be helpful in drawing out application and seeing how others are inspired by God’s Word.

Sometimes I read the Bible, sometimes I read a devotional. I lead a small group, so I am often preparing materials for that as well. I also journal words that I hear from God, look them up in scripture, and then search commentaries to see what the Holy Spirit nightlights in the content.
