Hinduism and Buddhism both teach reincarnation or essentially working oneself into a better life situation in another living form that improves with each death and rebirth. This is attained by living a life that is better according to their religious beliefs and learning the hard lessons in life they have missed each time around. Both are striving for a state of Nirvana or something like it. There are many beliefs regarding how that looks but it is a time of peace where one need not strive anymore to escape for life with its pain.

Both Hinduism and Buddhism believe in reincarnation. Hinduism believe to end the cycle is to walk the threefold path of careful practice of the Hindu rites and ceremonies, having the knowledge to only manifest Brahman’s reality and devote to ardent worship of the Hindu deities and demonstrates love to family, firends and at work. Buddhism practice the Four Noble Truths and not clear on what the ultimate life will be.
