What do you find encouraging about Jesus’ teaching on faith in Luke 17:6?

I think God is letting us experience the divine thoughts of faith and prayer. I cannot even imagine having so little faith but accomplishing so very much as to move a black Mulberry tree into the sea.

Just the smallest amount of faith put in God’s hands can have amazing results.

All we need is just a little bit of faith. And, all we have to do is ask for an increase if we want more. God is so good.

Faith can be difficult sometimes; There are a lot of forces in this world trying to convince us that God does not hear us, or care, or even exist. Like the professor mentions in the lecture, we are constantly assaulted by the world, the flesh, and the devil, and they are all working to destroy our faith.
Luke 17:6 is encouraging – It reminds me of James 4:8 where James says “Come close to God, and God will come close to you.” God understands the battle we are in and the assaults to our faith. I find great reassurance in Luke 17:6’s point that God doesn’t disregard us for our struggles, but instead, comes toward us, empowers us, and shows himself to us when we have just the smallest ounce of faith (as mentioned in Luke 17:6).

Our faith may be little when it comes to prayer but even when it is so, with a true and genuine faith that we have, miracles does happens. Without hesitation or doubt but believed that we shall received on what we prayed for according to God’s will.
