It’s hard when I hear people yelling their prayer. He’s not deaf.
It’s hard when I hear people using group prayer as a form of gossip.
The rewards of group prayer is when people are praising and thankful for answered prayer. It’s so beautiful when we are brought to tears in our prayers knowing that the Lord is washing us as a body in Christ. -
Staying on task is the most difficult thing about praying with others . The prayer time must be guarded so that the time is spent actually and not just talking about what to pray.
The reward in praying with others is that when two or more pray together, God’s presence is ushered in. -
Sometime I hesitate to pray with others because I don’t think I sound ‘spiritual’ enough, but the advice to just be myself is wise.
Other times just getting to the meeting can be a chore. My church has a weekly prayer meeting at the church right before a Bible study or course. It’s amazing how easy it is to talk myself out of going because I’m tired or not feeling well.
The most rewarding thing is that fellowship develops between those that are present; deep connections are made and all are blessed. -
Others praying what you just prayed instead of agreeing with you when you prayed.
Rewarding when you know the Lord was present and helped you pray, and you sensed His pleasure. -
Difficult sometimes to pray with others due to not knowing what you are praying for or what the needs for others. Most rewarding when you see a prayer answered. God is given all the praise.
