What do you find most difficult about praying with others? Most rewarding?

Difficult–I get nervous about finding the words. I try to formulate what to say in advance, taking the intimacy out of prayer. Rewarding–there is unity that comes with praying together.

What’s most rewarding is getting the report that God has honored our prayer and seeing the peace and joy in others–and I got to be a small part of that.

I know this is silly but I sometimes doubt my abilities. It isn’t about me. It’s about Jesus and them but I question my involvement. Why has God chosen to let me be a part of the process? I’m grateful He does but that’s an insecurity I have.

Difficult – Concentrating when multiple people are praying. Rewarding- unity in coming together in Christ.

With others, sometimes knowing what to say, most rewarding, being able to complete praying with others and knowing we have covered the issues.
