What do you find most difficult about praying with others? Most rewarding?

I know God loves it when I pray (talk) to Him just like talking to a friend. However, I get nervous and stuck with getting the words to talk to HIm

I find most difficult when people go on and on and talk about themselves . Most rewarding is feeling the Holy Spirit there when a group prays.

I find it most difficult to pray with other who do not really know the way to pray effectively. I specifically get irritated when someone prays “if it be your will” on a matter that clearly is always God’s will to do what they are asking for. It is not a matter of immaturity but of ignorance. Vainly repeating what they have always heard others say. It irks me because it undermines the very prayers that they are taking the time to pray. On the other hand, I see it most rewarding to encounter sincere prayer that is effective and gets results. Our prayers are always heard and answered, albeit not necessarily in the manner of our choice. Prayers that are innocent and childlike or intense and fervent are the best to me. I find it rewarding to be able to teach others how to pray and encourage them to do it often and with gladness. Where two or more agree, then you incline God’s ear and things change. It is always rewarding to see prayer make a difference and be impactful.

yep, i am long winded. this session helped me see a more beautiful way to be united with those I love and pray with. The rewards of praying with others is that it is not as lonely, it feels great when others consider my needs and especially amazing when God answers that prayer that someone else prayed; especially when I didnt even know what to pray!
