What do you find most difficult about praying with others? Most rewarding?

I find it difficult as I am sometimes unsure what to say or feel that my words will not come outright but I then remember that God can use my mouth to speak the appropriate words that need to be said at any time.

I have found that the most difficult things for me while praying with others, are two things Pastor Banks mentioned — (1) “unending” requests and (2) long-winded praying. While I do think people are well intentioned, it does make praying with others a bit more challenging.

Long-winded and repetitive pray-ers who don’t let anyone else share what God has put on their heart, and by the time they have finished, what God had said to you no longer relates to the topic since the topic changed 6 times in the pray-ers prayer.

The most difficult thing about praying with others is making sure you have all the facts about people before you pray. Prayer is supposed to be done in spirit and truth. When I was young, I use to think it was safe to pray for people, but you have to be care not to pray for and with the wick one. (1 John 5: 19)
The best thing about praying with others is, if the other person is a true Christian, a new relationship can form, based on all of the right ambitions and the same beliefs.

I’m not getting what you said about not praying for the wicked or with the wicked from that verse or the verses surrounding it. Did you perhaps have a typo? When I searched this, I found many verses saying that God doesn’t hear my (Christian) prayers if I am caught up in sin, (nor does He hear the prayers of the wicked). Prov 15:29, 1 Peter 3:7,12, John 9:31, Psalm 66:18, Is 59:2, Jam 4:3-4. But I am unable to find verses saying the righteous should not pray with or for the wicked. God is kind to the wicked and tells us to do likewise Luke 6:35, He sent Jonah to go preach to the entire city of Ninevah, our Saviour came to seek the lost Luke 19:10, and He desires for all to be saved 1 Tim 2:4, and there are countless other verses of God blessing both the wicked and the righteous telling us to pray for them and their salvation. Rom 10:1, Matt 5:44, 1 Tim 2:1, Luke 6:28, Luke 23:34,

The most difficult is some being long winded and me losing focus. The most rewarding is knowing and feeling God’s presence when two or three are gathered together.
