What do you hope to gain from learning Greek?

A deeper understanding of God’s Word and the ability to study it.

Guidance, understanding, closeness to the God who inspired the writers.

I appreciate those who teach the Scripture who also have a knowledge of Greek grammar. I’d like to have a functional knowledge of that grammar, so my own teaching/learning will not be closer to meaning.

Basic understanding of Greek Language and its use or meaning in a context or content.

[Austin]

I hope to be able to read part of the Bible in Greek, even if it is only an isolated verse.
