What do you hope to gain from learning Greek?

As a student of the Word and presently taking theology courses, it is imperative that I learn Greek so that I can apply it to my study of the New Testament writings.

I have never found learning languages easy, but I know that an understanding of Greek will be beneficial in my Biblical studies.

I hope to develop a better understanding of scripture and what’s lost when the original Greek is translated into English.

I like languages and hope that by learning Greek it will become easier to learn yet more languages. Additionally, I hope to read the Bible on an entirely new level.
