What do you hope to gain from this course? In what specific areas do you hope to grow as a Christian educator?

As I continually grow in intimacy and love with God, I grow as a teacher who can love and serve students as Christ loves and serves the church. I want to increase my ability to create a nurturing environment and creative ways to connect my students with the truth of the Word of God so that they will hold this truth in their hearts and not depart from it.

I want to challenge myself to improve my teaching. I recognize that as I grow, my teaching will grow, and my students will benefit. May God be glorified.

As a first year teacher in a Christian school, I hope to gain a better understanding of how to apply biblical principals in all aspects of my teaching.

From this course, I hope to learn how to teach my students a true and good education based on the Bible, in spite of living in a world that tries to teach the opposite.

I hope to gain a better understanding of how to teach the importance of God’s Word and how students can develop biblical values in our fallen world. As an educator, I hope to solidify strategies for integrating biblical values in all my courses.
