What do you hope to gain from this course?

My job as the Learning Support teacher can be very focused on helping students reach goals and looking for progress toward those goals. It can be hard to find ways to integrate the Bible into phonics instruction or a structured study hall. I hope to learn some ways to do this.

I hope to gain some practical ways to help students recognize how the content of the Bible relates to our curriculum and current worldwide events.

I hope to gain additional perspective, incentive, and desire to continue to share my Lord and Savior with those I meet and come in contact with. I believe God provides divine appointments for us and what we do with that will attest to our relationship with Him. My schooling has me finishing my degree to work with students in grades K-9, as well as special education K-12, but I am also looking to start a college and career Bible study in my home for my adult son and some of his friends who feel that many of the opportunities they have attended are more focused on social gatherings than on learning and applying the Word. I love to talk about what God has done, what He is doing, and what I hope to see Him do in myself and others. I expect to gain a greater understanding of how to integrate His Word into all that I teach, say, and do.

I hope to gain insight on how to integrate the Bible in my lessons.

I hope to gain a greater awareness of how to be opened minded with others as He is with us from a longsuffering perspective, which entails His integrated Word and character in all manners of living, so I can relate it to my students.
