The six macro-observation questions contribute to the understanding of a Bible book by supplying all the information and answers needed to complete and makes the context of a Bible book passage complete and truthfull.

These questions, when answered, give us a broad overview of the Bible book being studied. They prepare the reader to better understand when it’s time to do micro-observation.

Each of the six observation questions bring a clearer focus of the book being observed. Each answer brings together a better and more clear understanding and if one does not answer them all then there may be something missing that may skew the understanding of a specific text. (i.e., If the reader did not understand Ezekiel was in Babylon when he received his prophecies one may believe he was seeing these things first hand.)

Knowing and answering each macro-observation questions helps us understand the book in context and helps to limit mis-interpretation of its passages.
