What do you think each of the six macro-observation questions of “Who, What, How, Where, When and Why” contribute to understanding a book of the Bible?
I think these six questions are important to understand what we are reading. If we do not understand the author, their purpose of writing, the circumstances, approximate date and reasoning then we risk taking scripture out of context.
All of these influence the meaning of passages in the book by identifying the writer, recipients, theme, organization, time and location of writing, and the purpose.
