What genre it is written in as well as what language gives insight on how to read the book. Where tells us not only where the writer and reader are but also in what part of the Bible the passage is in. When can help us see when in the Bible this book takes place, i.e., OT, NT, the beginning, middle or end. Is it during the exile or during the life of Jesus. Why tells us why the writer is writing the book.
