Each of the six micro-observation questions help us understand the bible in different ways. We need to know Who, What, How, Where, When and Why in order for us to accurately get a better understanding of each book of the Bible.

It’s crucial to know the answers to these questions when reading ANY text, but especially with the Bible. It’s critical that we know this information in order to interpret and understand what God wants us to know. We can ask the Spirit to help us with these questions and not “lean on our own understanding” because He knows how important they are. We have to put ourselves in the shoes of the writer and feel, see, and think as he did, know who he was speaking to and why, in order to completely understand His message.

it helps us to understand the context of the bible and to know the depth of the verses

By doing a macro-observation you can put passages in context with the rest of the book, and what the writer intended. It stops us from misleading ourselves.

They help us to understand what the writer is trying to say and reason for saying it
