Love is as the Bible defines it. It represents who God is. Love is not always what the world will tell you it is: that it is to make the other person “feel good” and to support their truths. There is only one truth, as defined by God’s word.

God’s Word instructs us to love others, and we also need to remember that God loved us so much, He sent His Son to save us. God showed us love. We should do the same.

Love is the fulfillment of truth in the light of Christ. We can look through critical/analytical lenses, but if we don’t have love, then those lenses are not yet complete. We can focus on the negative more easily, than seeing a problem fulfilled into a solution and with people who are treated well.

Instruction should be based on truth with students. Correction is important for righteousness, feeling valued is being held accountable, being challenged academically is not marginalizing. We hold eachother to these truths to walk alongside our students.

To love one another is one of the pillars of God’s word. We should remind our students that He loved us first so we need to love everyone around us forgiving in the same way God forgave us all. This statement is based on what God wants us to do with our neighbors.
