There are Christians out there who believe in different false facets of the word of God and change it up to meet their way of living. In the word it says God is love, so when we love one another we are displaying pure love from our Heavenly Father.

Truth in love is a compassionate concern. If you cannot speak truth in a loving way, then it is not true. It is only from a position of love that you can speak the truth and seek the good of the person to whom you speak it. True truth is loving, and real love is truthful.

The truth helps us face reality whether we like it or not. As in overcoming addictions the first step is to admit you have a problem.

Because Jesus is the truth of our reality, true love can only be based off what Jesus (and the scriptures) say love actually is. This is crucial for our day and age because there are so many definitions of what “loving one another” actually is. This is because so many societies have departed from truth of what and who love is.
