That in Christian school the child will get the Christian foundation that will help the child fulfill God’s purpose.

She means that Christian educators is raising up a generation of spiritual, eternal beings. We do not just love God with our minds, although our God-given mind is important. Christian schools raise up young people to follow God.

Their spiritual lives matter more. They can be a blessing to others by following God’s calling in their lives.

We are not only training students to become cognitively competent. Yes, students need to understand what they are learning, but when it comes to the Bible, we also want students to experience the Lord, not simply teach them about Him. Students also need to be able to compare and contrast what they are learning in the classroom and out in the world with God’s Word. When they become competent to measure everything to what the Bible says within the context of our classrooms, they will also be able to face the challenges of other aspects of life, and measure it against God’s Word. This is how to walk in the world, but not as the world.

To be people of God means caring about what Jesus cared about – others. We want our students to show love first and formost.
