We should not base our lessons only on the knowledge acquisition part, we should base our lessons on their relationship with God and His purpose for their lives. We should prepare them for eternity, not for the short period we are in this world.

I believe she means that yes, we want our students to gain knowledge for the jobs God has called them to, but it’s more than that. We are also preparing our students to be members of the kingdom of heaven. We are preparing students to meet their Savior and to spend eternity with Him.

It is of the utmost importance that we teach our kids to think critically! They must be equipped with the ability to sift through this world using their Biblical Worldview.

Knowledge is not the end goal. Students recognizing their God given calling and being prepared to step into those roles is what is important.

We need to raise a generation that understands their calling here on earth is eternal. If we merely teach them book knowledge we are missing out on fostering the most important thing and that is their relationship with Christ.
