What they have learned, they need to know how to apply it to their lives. Just being competent cognitively is not enough. Go out and live out what you learned. Put your education into action and become a fisher of men. Understand your talent, develop your talent, and use your talent to build the kingdom of God.

She says many times children are more likely to listen to God’s calling than adults are because they are open to hear Him. Dr. Black also believes that God has given us a purpose and calling in life and it is important for us as educators to help our students develop skills they believe God is calling them to have.

We want them to hear God’s call and do what they are supposed to be doing here. But we want that to be something that prepares them for eternity.
