He means that it shouldn’t be the starting point but it should be an integral part of the curriculum. We should be integrating it into what needs to be done.

Dr. Teague’s statement means that integration is not enough. We must strive for true infusion, like our DNA. We must start from God’s truths and teach the content and application through God’s word as our guide.

He means that it needs to be combined. It all needs to be one lesson.

Integration should be throughout all components of every lesson. There is never a starting point since it should be throughout all of your lessons.

I believe Dr. Teague means that we must start with the Bible, we must comprehend God’s word in order to have a biblical approach in our lesson.
