Integration is not the starting point but it is the result of working to establish a godly pedagogy. the starting point is a thorough knowledge of God’s Word, along with a transformed being through Jesus Christ and the ability to see as with God’s eyes all that is around ud.

Dr. Teague says that we must first have a renewed mind, knowing and applying God’s word in our personal life, as well as develop our own biblical worldview in order to embed these truths in our curriculum and in all interactions with our students.

Dr. Teague means that without knowing, understanding, and applying God’s word and using it to transform our hearts and minds, we cannot successfully incorporate biblical integration in our classrooms. With the true starting point, biblical integration will be infused in everything we teach.

Dr. Teague is trying to emphasize that the starting point is the Bible and suggest that perhaps starting with how teaching should be biblical integrated is the wrong entry point, but it should be knowing the Bible and the application of that knowledge towards “learning and life,” as Lowrie concludes.

Dr. Teague means that Godly pedagogy shouldn’t just be blended into the whole and something that can later be removed.
