The foundation of being able to integrate the Bible is that we have to have a sound and solid living and working knowledge of the Bible. We cannot know how to apply the Bible to our lives or the lives of our students without being firmly rooted in God’s Word, seeking to understand the truths within. We have to read the Bible daily and pray for God’s word to be lifted off the pages for our learning and understanding. When we are doing that in our own lives, we can transfer that practice to the lives of our students. Our minds and eyes must be transformed to see the World through the lens of Jesus: seeing the world through Biblical truths and teaching from that perspective.

The beginning point for a godly pedagogy is knowledge of God’s Word and the application of that knowledge to our lives. This is how we transform our vision and renew our minds.

We cannot do integration without a solid knowledge of the scriptures first

It goes back to content and process. The teacher must “live” the truths that are integrated.

That we must first understand the word of God and how to applied them in our own lives before we can start working on pedagogy.
