I have been influenced a great deal by my readings in science as it reflects God’s existence. For me, the response to this question is now easy. God is truly the intelligent designer. How he did it will never be known, but man cannot explain how or why. The complexity of DNA alone should lead everyone to believe in God. As such. there is nothing in existence which is not a part of God’s creation. Genesis provides an outline and begins to expose what God expects of human beings. The rest of the Bible provides examples in how humans lived and died in relationships to those expectations.

That God created all of creation before man and in it He created everything that man would need.
-
That God was the beginning. That He created the earth for man and that He created man to commune with.

The power of creation lies in God’s words as He brings everything into existence through His divine order. He takes pleasure in everything He has created, seeing it as good.

It tells us that all things were created by God. It tells us the sequence of this creation, and how all things were created good. It tells me there is orderliness, beauty and purpose in all of creation. It tells me how, before God created man and woman, He prepared a wonderful environment for them to thrive in. It also reminds me of our creatureliness – how we are limited and we should live in submission and thankfulness to this Creator.
