The lecturer hit it right on target. Education is a gift in which teachers are ordained with influencing students and providing critical thinking channels for exploration. If teachers are able to weave in Christian philosophy in teaching, students are given gems to impact the world by serving with a humble heart and showing how love can bridge gaps of human ignorance. Teaching students how scripture can be used as a double-edged sword in day-to-day encounters with others through thoughts, actions, and words spoken can be vital to kingdom building. If students are taught with Christian principles for everything done in life, it can help bring people to a faith that is ever lasting. If God’s people are able to do well with their and belongings here on earth to build God’s kingdom individual’s will be rewarded in after life in Heaven.

The highest goal is to convey that ” hearing Jesus’ words and believing in God who sent him brings eternal life. John 5:24.

This is not our home. How we share and show Jesus, will teach them how to live and Love for Jesus. They will carry our examples with them for their earthly time here and into Heaven. We are not building earthly treasures on Earth, we are building the Kingdom of God.

Our goal is to raise up the next generation to know and love the Lord. To understand who He is and who they are as His children. We are to help them see they are unique and specifically created for a purpose in this world. Their education is to help them be better equipped to fulfill that calling on their lives, to help them make sense of those “big questions”, and to build a solid foundation for their future.

I think she means that you are here to educate them forever. When a student is no longer in your course that doesn’t mean you stop sharing the Gospel with them or sharing his word. It just means you will educate them inside and outside of the classroom. Heaven/God is eternal and we need to make sure these students are aware of that.
