There is more to teaching academics, but to teach them about who they are, why they were made, and where they are going to be at end of life.

It is important that we are always pointing kids back to God in all areas of education.

The Gospel must be the cornerstone of all instruction. It is why we are called to be educators.

I love this quote. What we are teaching has eternal meaning and consequences for our students.

In Matthew 6: 31-33, we are told, “So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” In this verse, we are presented with the mandate not to worry about earthly things but first to pursue God’s kingdom (that which is eternal), and He will take care of our earthly lives. Learning and applying this principle is a lifetime endeavor, beginning at the earliest age. Christian educators have a unique obligation and opportunity to reinforce this every day in the classroom.
