God created all human beings as eternal beings. As Christian educators, we are educating student for eternity. Each child is born with a soul. As Christian educators, we should teach children that they are a creation of God. We need to teach them a Biblical worldview, and how to defend that worldview.

I interpret this to mean that we are not just teaching them the material. They can get that in a public education. We should teach the material all the while also interweaving a Christian philosophy into our sessions. We need to teach them a Biblical worldview and then also how to defend that worldview as they go onto further education.

We are not just teaching our students the subject material, but our ultimate concern is for our students’ eternal souls!

Understanding the foundations of math and science are important, but not nearly as important as encouraging a life long love and desire to follow Christ to eternity.

Our perspective in all things needs to be in the light of eternity. So we need to teach our students to view all things through that lens as well.
