What does the lecturer mean when she says you are here to educate your students for eternity?

Deleted User12/22/2021 at 12:58My job is to not only educate the students on the topic but also to teach them that they have an eternal existence and that accepting Christ is the only way to spend eternity with Him. This is more important than making sure they understand every aspect of the lesson that is being taught because eternal security is far more important.

Deleted User11/28/2021 at 19:30The goal isn’t getting your students past today’s lesson. It isn’t about them being ready for next year. The goal isn’t even creating outstanding adults. The goal is guiding students to Christ in a way, that is so deeply rooted, that you reunite someday in Heaven.

Assuming my student is a believer, any influence I might have on him or her will affect their view of reality and relationship with Christ. Thus, being eternal creatures, they will eternally experience the “ripples” of this life.
