What was said has two meanings. First, we must help prepare our students for the path before them as Christians. Secondly, if we do our jobs properly and instill biblical values and truths in the younger generation, we have provided the knowledge that our students will need to pass these truths on to the next generations.

The lessons you teach your students will impact them for the rest of their lives

Christian educators have the unique opportunity to teach students Truth and explain to them the Life that is found in Christ. As Christian educators, we have the freedom to answer and discuss questions about who we are and why we are here and what our purpose is on the earth. This gives us the opportunity to present the Gospel, which means out students are then given the opportunity to respond to Christ, which would seal their eternity with Him.

Our life lessons go far beyond the classroom. When Christ is part of those lessons, it plants the seed of Christ in their hearts.

She means that we are educating these students not just so that they might be successful in the world as we know it now but to help prepare them to withstand the lies from the secular world. Teaching them from a Christian perspective will help them learn how to stand for their beliefs and stay rooted in Christ regardless of what the world says which affects their eternal life.
