The changing of seasons done with such precision, the movement of the tides, the gestational period from conception to delivery of all living things, the miracle of birth, the fact that every part of the body serves a unique purpose and yet is designed to work in harmony. The functioning of the human brain. The unique design and functions of animals on land, in the air and in the sea. Rivers flow to the sea, seas flow to oceans….bears know when to hibernate, salmon know when to spawn and these cycles of life continue without fail every season for hundreds of years. The awesomeness of how a seedling can grow into a tree. Evidence of God’s involvement in Creation is all around us and everywhere!

The presence of stars in the sky that we see testifies to a god. We are so insignificant in the cosmos yet so valuble to God.

Aside from the fine-tuning of the universe, how about the fine-tuning of the human body? The fact that everything works for a purpose and supports itself is amazing. I know it sounds gross, but I’m always fascinated by the idea of vomiting. If we get food poisoning, our body attempts to protect us by tossing the food back out to keep us healthy. Our body acts like our own personal bouncers to keep the bad things out and good things in. I think only someone like God could design something so perfect.

Our lives, the human life. A life when it’s formed in the mother’s womb. The beauty and life of nature. The universe and all that breathes in it…..
