The evidence Muslims call attention to in order to validate the uniqe inspiration of the Koran begins with the literary beauty, it’s fulfilled prophecies, it’s scientific accuracy, and it’s power to transform lives of those who study it.

Believers say that Muhammad began to receive a series of divine revelations in about 610 A.D. He preached these revelations and his disciples transcribed them into written form. The revelations were believed to be transmitted from the Mother of the Book, from which the Koran is derived. The Koran is uniquely inspired based upon its literary beauty, fulfilled prophecies, its scientific accuracy, and its transformative power for its readers.

Although Mohammad did not write it, it was written by people who memorized what he said. They believe the revelations Mohammad received were directly from Allah.
