Church wasn’t made important when I was a child. We went sometimes, but mainly on Hollidays or when someone else would bring us for Bible school or an event. I have never felt at home completely at a church. I think that I put too much significance on them. No one church is going to be perfect in all ways for every member of our family. You also get what you give. We have not been perfect members.

I love our church. Our church makes me feel loved. We are a family. I have been through different trials but my church always stick with me. They are always there to help and encourage me, to mentor me and my husband to walk in the truth and God’s righteousness.

I grew up attending church on my own and enjoyed it very much. As I have grown older it has become very hard to find a church as a man and father. It is hard finding somewhere that I feel led to be as well as my son.

Positives: Fellowship, accountability, relationships, bible studies, small group. Negatives: being too seeker sensitive and removing focus on God, not acknowledging or recognising the Holy Spirit.

My experience was that I saw how we all need a savior. Some of the churches I’ve attended are no longer there today. Some of the churches still exist and are being run by the grandchildren of the ministers that founded those churches.
