Very positive, I’ve been able to be poured into as I have served and led in church ministry. I have come to understand that there is a small percentage of the church that does the work.

The positive is that I used to love to go as a young teenager, I loved to listen to the sermon and try to understand the Word more than I could at the time of my immature mind and heart. I also think the positive was I was a part of the praise and worship team but my best friend and I would dance on Sundays for the congregation to worship God. It was amazing.
The negative was the fact that the second pastor that took over after the first retired, stole everything and got out of dodge. It was devasting it hurts to this day that he was able to do that and preach every Sunday knowing he was of an evil heart. It is the reason that to this day I no longer have a home church and still looking for one today. My boyfriend thinks he has a home church but it just doesn’t feel right, the Holy Spirit just does not feel present there and the congregation is not excited about the Lord.

As a youth, I attended Wed night svcs more than Sun morning. Didn’t go much as a teenager…only occasionally.
Started attending regularly as a new married couple & have been every since.
Most of my experiences attending church have been positive…worship & fellowship.
My negative experiences have come during my times of leadership within the body…youth & deacon.

I enjoy being part of my local church. I do get fustrated when leadership in various levels or visible memebers of the church mistreat others in teh church. It’s a concern that I have for fear of repelling people from the faith by our treatment of oneanother.
