My past experience in local church attendance has been alright. There are members who work on Sundays and so there are Sundays when church is full and some there is about half the congregation present. During holiday there are many that are absent but they would return at the end. During Prayer , Bible Studies and Fasting Services it is usually the faithful few. However, since the introduction of Zoom and Prayer lines it has been worst. There are members that have not returned to church because they can listen to the service online. They do not get to fellowship with the other believers and to serve with their gifts. Church attendance is not the same as before after covid-19. There are less congregants in the building.

I have been in the local church a long time. It has been a place of great joy. There has been some sad times when there was trouble and hurt within the body, but when the members will let the Holy Spirit and word of God lead them it will heal and be ok

I have enjoyed local church attendance. Church was my hangout spot growing up. I lived in a rough neighborhood and church provided me the opportunity to learn to love God, share Christ with others, play sports, and even grow from a boy to a man. I have been blessed with good people throughout the years because of being a part of the body of Christ. There has also been bad experiences where when things go wrong in the church with relationships with people that I have known through church fellowship. Sometimes the higher up or closer you may get to the inner circle of church life things can become very tense.

I have not attended a church where I have any negative feedback. On the positive all the churches that I have attended in my search for the one that I call home, have been very welcoming. I was raised in a certain denomination, however after leaving my home I felt the need to venture to other churches until I could call one home and eventually for years became non-denominational. But to my surprise when I was invited by my friend to the same denomination that I grew up in, I have chosen to go back to that, God has told me this is my home.

In my early days as a Christian, I enjoyed church. One church laid heavily on fellowship and that’s what I enjoyed the most. Every member knew each other and there were groups for men, women and children. Sadly, there were disagreements over some doctrinal teachings and the church split. Another church I attended started off okay, but after a while, they became a bit ‘controlling.’ It’s like I couldn’t think for myself. They wanted to know my whereabouts and I couldn’t have friends, especially male friends outside the church. Eventually, I left. I haven’t been a member of a church for almost thirty years now.
