I’m happier when I consistently go but I also recognize my desire for freedom of independence.

It has provided the opportunity to build relationships that are used to sharpen me, humble me, challenge me, and comfort me.
It has sometimes insulated me from non-believers and kept me busy just spending time and putting my focus on like-minded people. -
I grew up going to church and I still go to church on Sundays. The positive is that I get grow and serve in the church. The negative is that some people come for a little bit and don’t come back.

I love the church. The church has given me people to grow in the faith with. The negative about the church is that people are sinful so you will inevitably be hurt by them no matter what church you go to.

I’ve been attending my local church since before I was born, and hope to remain there faithfully until my journey is ended. I’m far from a good member of the local body, but God has been gracious to me.
