What has been your past experience in local church attendance? Explain the positive and the negative.

I have mostly been involved in church. I like to find areas to serve. A lot of times those areas involve worship. Where I am now I try to make serving and fellowship important. I want to learn and grow but also give.

I have attended church in cycles. I have attended very regularly and I have not attended at all for periods of time when I was having spiritual issues in my mind.

I find that church fills me back up to go and do ministry throughout the week.

I need the teaching and encouragement the local church provides. As this lesson teaches, it’s not perfect because it’s made up of imperfect people. When God’s people wound, it’s often a deep wound.
