Before I found my current church I went to a lot of other church’s looking for a church home. But every one that I went to was just not what I was looking for. Some were so large that no one wanted to get to know anyone. You just felt like a stranger no matter how many times you went. Some just put on a big performance and was not teaching the word. Of the smaller churches I just did not feel the spirit. But the church I am in now, I felt the spirit the moment I walked in the door

25 plus years of church attendance, most of my adult life and youth life. The good certainly outweighs the bad experiences.

My past experience in local church was amazing, I love how we worship the Lord with satisfaction. I love my local church because they have been a guide to my spiritual walks.

Is church what you do? Or is being apart of the Church who you are. I find often, that is what we do, not who we are.

I have had an on again off again attendance with the local established church. I have struggled some with some of the ruts we get into with the traditional church. I have also been involved in “street church” no building or set parameters, often with just homeless membership. Both I believe have pros and cons.
