What impressed you about the idea of “adorning the doctrine of God”?

The idea of “adorning the doctrine of God has impressed me by all the parts of God showing is unconditional love no matter what is happening to us.

Rereading this verse coupled with the explanation was an “aha” moment for me. When I live my life according to Biblical doctrine, the truths of God, I am adorning myself with the doctrine of God. Just as people see what I am wearing physically, they should also be able to see what I am wearing spiritually and say, “Hey where did you get that:-)?”

In our age of crime, deceit, & government that has taken God gradually out of our schools, it is our God of unchanging love that we must cling to. He is never changing in our ever changing world. He is our constant where we must keep our minds focused. Otherwise we fall into chaos. As a nurse, when patients are confronted with life and death issues, most, even those who hold no religious ties, will pray. That is the “inner voice of our conscience testifying to His existence”. Amazing. Therefore, it is important that we let others see God through us.

What impressed me about the idea of “adorning the doctrine of God” “What a good God He is”. His doctrines has increased my beliefs and reminded me of His amazing attributes, that we need to always remember. Which is helping me to continue trusting him and focusing on his promises.

This reminds us that we must put our lives in order and to live the way Christ wants us to live. We are to allow Christ to be seen through us in everything that we do.
