That we should not only study the Bible to learn about God and how He wants us to live, but to teach others as well.

The thought that when I adorn the doctrine of God, I am living as an example to others so that they may see God’s works and light reflected in me.

The cosmetics of the doctrine help others to see God in us. We have become a reflection of HIM.

Adorning is essentially what we do to make ourselves or something look better than the way it was before. It is our way to stand out. That’s what happens when we “adorn” ourselves in the truth of the Word of God. We become a better version of who we once were.

We wear His robe of righteousness, given from him to us who were sinners, but by his gift(s) we are forgiven. The Holy Spirit lives within us keeping us on the right path here on earth (that is to say, if one is a believer), until Christ comes back to take us to our eternal, heavenly home.
