It is simply a faith that saves. It is the faith in believing who Jesus is and accepting the salvation that Jesus brings and is demonstrated by a genuine repentance.

I-Faith is the beginning point of salvation. (Heb. 11:6)

1-Faith is personal trust in God.

a-While faith involves an intellectual conviction of the reality of these two truths, it involves

    much more.

b-Faith is an inward attitude, a confident assurance and/or a firm, steady conviction about

what is not present but that which we confidently expect. (Heb. 11:1, 2)

i-Faith is spiritual perception, an insight into the unseen, to sense God at work (vv. 3, 27)

    despite obstacles.

ii-Faith is an assurance or confidence based on hope in God’s promises.

c-Saving faith is not blind faith.

i-Faith is a settled confidence that something that God has promised in the future will

actually happen because God will make it happen.

ii-While we do not come to saving faith through human reasoning, it is reasonable.

iii-Saving faith is believing and trusting that God, on the basis of Christ’s substitutionary

death and resurrection, forgives and accepts all who trust in Jesus Christ and rely on Him

alone for salvation (Acts 4:12; Rom. 3:21-26; 4:1-25; Eph. 2:8-1,0)

2-Saving faith is always accompanied by appropriate deeds. (Jas. 2:14-26; Heb. 11:4-38)

a-If one does not obey, he or she may believe but not have saving faith. (Jas. 2:19)

i-One does not deserve or earn salvation through obedience.

ii-Obedience is a proof or demonstration that one believes God and trusts and relies on

    Him. (Jas. 2:18)

b-Faith without obedience is useless and dead. (Jas. 2:17, 20)

c-Faith is made complete by what one does. (Jas. 2:22)
