Believing that I have been saved and redeemed by God through Christ Jesus.

It means to believe who Jesus is and with faith only in him can one be saved.

It is a personal trust in God. Believing that God, based on Christ’s death and resurrection, forgives and accepts all who trust in Jesus Christ and rely on Him alone for salvation.

Saving faith is faith in Jesus Christ and Him alone for salvation. It is understanding that the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross is how we are saved. Nothing that we do or have done can save us, no works are good enough. Our righteousnesses is as filthy rags to a holy and righteous God. Many groups preach and teach the a gospel that cannot save because they trust their own works.

By the death and resurrection of Jesus, this gives a person a saving faith of salvation.
